Behind The Design: Colorful Beaded Bars
Our new additions, the colorful beaded bars have been catching a lot of eyes! We sat down to talk to our founder and jewelry designer Erin Myles, to tell us more about these additions!
What was the inspiration behind the beaded bar design?
I really wanted to add something to our collection for summer that was bright and elevated!
Along with that question, can you talk about the materials that were used in creating the beaded bars?
All of the materials used are genuine stone (ie. turquoise, malachite, fluorite), freshwater pearl, and Miyuki seed beads (a high-quality glass bead made in Japan. The BEST. IYKYK) and wire wrapped on 14kt gold.
There are various colors to choose from. How did you decide on the color palette for these charms?
This was the intuitive part...I started by sourcing beads in colors that inspired me and went with my gut on color combinations.
What unique qualities does the beaded bar design add to Forever Jewelry that other charm options might not?
It adds a luxe friendship bracelet vibe.
How do you envision clients styling the beaded bars?
I picture them in a stack with the rest of your bracelet mess, as a pop of color, or on an anklet for a fun beach look.
