Not at all. The welding process uses a quick spark that only touches the chain’s jump ring — it never contacts your skin. The entire experience is painless and takes about 10–15 minutes.
Yes. You can clip off permanent jewelry at any time with household scissors or nail clippers. If you want to re-weld it later, bring it to any Brave Daughters studio and we’ll reconnect it for you.
We recommend booking online to guarantee your time slot, but walk-ins are welcome at both our Boston Seaport and Dedham studios when availability allows.
All Brave Daughters Forever Jewelry is made from 14k solid gold or 14k gold-fill chains. We do not use plated, stainless steel, or base metals. Our materials are hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant, and shower-safe.
Absolutely. We host private permanent jewelry parties at The Hidden Gem (our event space at Legacy Place, Dedham) and through our House Call mobile service. Groups of 2–8 can book standard appointments; parties of 10+ should inquire through our private events form.
Yes. Our 14k gold chains are designed for 24/7 wear — including showers, swimming, and workouts. We recommend avoiding prolonged chlorine exposure and harsh chemicals to maintain the finish.
We have two active locations: Boston Seaport (70 Pier 4 Blvd, Suite 420, inside The Superette) and Dedham at Legacy Place (640 Legacy Place, Dedham, MA 02026). Our Providence studio is now permanently closed.
