First of All, Forever vs. Whenever Jewelry: What’s the Difference?
Let’s get some quick and dirty definitions out of the way. We, at Brave Daughters have two jewelry offerings (at the moment) Forever Jewelry and Whenever Jewelry. What is the difference and which one is for you?
Forever Jewelry:
Forever Jewelry is our collection of chains and charms that are custom-fitted and welded directly onto you at our studio, pop-up or private event. No clasp, no fuss, just forever. You can create a combination of looks from our chain and charm offerings for a design that is completely personal and unique to you. It’s clasp-less, painless and forever. We like to think of this jewelry as a great opportunity to celebrate an accomplishment or milestone in life as a personal reminder or with a group of buddies. Whenever Jewelry:
Whenever Jewelry has the same chains and gemstones you love — just with the freedom to take them on and off whenever you please. You can create you own personalized design and add a clap (each piece is hand-made to your design specifications so please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.) Find a piece from our jewelry collection (and some of these pieces can even go on Forever Jewelry.)

Now that we've got that covered
we're going to get into how to measure for your whenever jewelry piece.
STEP 1: GATHER YOUR MATERIALS.

STEP 2: MEASURE AROUND YOUR WRIST OR NECK WITH THE STRING
This is where you get to create your own unique length, a service which is not often offered with most other fine jewelry designs, and part of the reason why we think we are so cute. You will be able to get your necklace or bracelet to perfectly nest in with your other jewelry for a magically collected look. Make sure to measure your string while wearing your other jewelry to get the length exactly right.
STEP 3: ONCE YOU HAVE THE EXACT RIGHT LENGTH, BRING THE STRING OVER TO THE RULER AND ROUND UP TO THE NEAREST INCH.
We create our necklaces and bracelets in 1” increments. Bracelets measure 6”, 7’ or 8” and necklaces 14”, 15”, 16”, 17”, or 18”. You’ll want to round up to the nearest inch and then retry the string around your wrist or neck. You might find it’s too long. In that case, remove an inch and retry. If you want your bracelet or necklace to be in between sizes, you will purchase the size up and make a special note in your purchase of exactly how long you want it.
STEP 4: YOU ARE READY TO PURCHASE!
Choose your length, chain style and charm (or no charm/plain chain) on our website. Make any special requests in the notes and we will have your custom jewelry piece out to you within 4 weeks! These make great gifts, for others and yourself ;)
