With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metalsmithing from the University of Washington, Rebekah uses traditional metalsmithing techniques to create her collections. Her deep and lifelong connection with craft alongside her ability to meld an organic quality with compassionate meaning, her work creates objects which allow the wearer to connect with significant moments in their lives.

To prevent discoloration and tarnish, avoid exposing your brass jewelry to harsh chemicals, perfumes, lotions, or excessive moisture. Remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, or applying skincare products. Tarnish, discoloration, and dullness are usually signs that your Brass jewelry needs to be cleaned. Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place, preferably in a soft pouch or a lined jewelry box. Keep each piece separate to prevent them from scratching each other. There are three popular methods to cleaning Brass:

Soap and Water Method
Washing your brass jewelry with soap and water should be the first step in removing dirt. Gently scrub the jewelry with a soft toothbrush and mild dish soap, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Vinegar Solution
Vinegar can brighten Brass jewelry up. After washing, drop it into a solution of equal parts water and white vinegar for 30 seconds. Rinse with clean water and buff the jewelry with a soft polishing cloth to make it shine. You should avoid this method if your jewelry has an opal.
