05/12/2022: We are so excited to announce the launch of our new pop-up with retail incubator The Current at Seaport Boston! This season includes all amazing womon-owned businesses, many local names you may know! Limited edition loungewear company, 1987 will be there; popular women’s fashion boutique and design studio, Ouimillie; vegan nail design from SCRATCH Nail Wraps; pioneering beauty brand, Flyte.70; coffee brew masters, Coffee Bae; sustainable baby food and accessories brand, The Little Cocoa Bean Company; fine jewelry purveyors, Brave Daughters; plant care and styling, Wesleaf Design and Décor; and inspiring word bracelets from Little Words Project.
“The Current is Boston’s go-to shopping destination for discovering the most exciting emerging brands. We are so proud to feature a collection of all female owned businesses, once again, and we think shoppers will particularly appreciate the sustainable lens through which many of these incredible businesses are operating,” said Carina Donoso, Senior Director of Retail Experience & Incubation, at WS Development.
In celebration of The Current’s opening on Thursday, May 12 between 3pm – 5pm, Seaport will host live music by Tiny Habits on Seaport Common, while giving away cotton candy sushi from Puffy Clouds.
For a shop and sweat experience, guests can also jump into a complimentary Seaport Sweat class (also on Seaport Common). A high energy Zumba class led by Nicole Derosiers is scheduled for 5:30pm that day, while Edwin Frias’ Mindful Warrior Yoga class is scheduled for 6:30pm.
The Current is located at 100 Seaport Boulevard, alongside Seaport Common and steps away from the Cisco Brewers Seaport Beer Garden.
